Ruthfred Acres Women’s Club installs new officers

The Ruthfred Acres Women’s Club installed its newly elected officers for 2018-19 at its annual spring President’s Luncheon held May 8 at St. Clair Country Club. Following the luncheon in honor of outgoing president Michele Schnieders, club historian Beverly Doyle highlighted the events of this the 71st season of the club. Guests included the recipients of this year’s philanthropic donation, The Pink Pamper, represented by Marian Geisler, president, and Lea Ann Rattigan, vice president. The Pink Pamper is Pittsburgh’s preeminent cancer-related nonprofit with 10 years of experience raising money in support of its mission to improve the lives and well-being of women impacted by a cancer diagnosis. All of the proceeds raised each year are distributed to women who reside in the greater Pittsburgh area. Membership is open to residents of Bethel Park and the surrounding communities.
