Christmas craft show

The DeMarillac Guild of St. Louise de Marillac Parish in Upper St. Clair will sponsor its annual “Joy of Christmas” Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 17, in the school and LeGras Parish Center. The show will feature 121 artists and crafters, a Chinese auction and bake sale. Lunch and snacks will be available for purchase. Admission is $2 and includes a ticket for the Chinese auction. The Junior Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh will present its fall concert, Dreams and Dances, on Nov. 18 at Third Presbyterian Church, Shadyside. Colon cancer screenings

Highmark Health and Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is offering colonoscopies on Saturdays this fall at a number of locations across Southwestern Pennsylvania. In the South Hills, Saturday screenings are scheduled from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 17, at Peters Township Surgery Center in McMurray. Space is limited. To make an appointment, call 412-515-2723.
