People: Week of Nov. 20
Sara Conley, a graduate of South Fayette High School, will be performing and choreographing for the University of Pittsburgh Dance Ensemble’s production of “Tombé” set for 8 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30. She will be choreographing a tap piece, performing in a modern dance, and working backstage. At South Fayette, Sara was a member of the National Honor Society and performed in the production of “Mary Poppins” as a junior, alongside dancing. She starting dancing at the age 2 and finished her high school career at Janet Hays and Company in Upper St. Clair. She competed for most of her life and continues to dance with the Pitt Dance Ensemble as a freshman.
The fall show will be held at Stephen Foster Memorial Theater behind the Cathedral of Learning on Forbes Avenue. Public parking is available at Soldiers and Sailors parking garage on Fifth Avenue. Admissions are free for University of Pittsburgh students and $5 for the general public.
