Antoinette Oliver, a Mt. Lebanon attorney, was honored with a Pro Bono Achievement Award by the Allegheny County Bar Foundation, at the organization’s Fall Foundation Reception held Sept. 26 at the Fairmont Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh. Oliver, who received the Kathryn M. Kenyon Leadership Award, is the immediate past-president of the Pittsburgh Pro Bono Partnership and a recognized leader in Allegheny County’s legal aid community. In addition to maintaining a practice at Meyer Unkovic & Scott, Oliver dedicates hundreds of hours each year to Partnership projects that she coordinates and for which she continues to volunteer. In 2016, her first year as chair, the Partnership served nearly 1,000 individual clients across its more than 20 projects.

Rinderle

McClintock & Associates, a Bridgeville-based accounting firm that specializes in audit and tax services within the post-secondary education industry, has promoted its senior manager, Gregory Rinderle, to director.

Rinderle has more than 14 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on financial aid compliance audits. As director, Rinderle will continue to share his expertise on a full range of financial aid audit consulting services including Title IV compliance audits, uniform guidance audits, merger and acquisition transaction services, 90/10 calculation, Department of Education file reviews and internal control processes and procedures reviews.

Prior to joining McClintock and Associates, Rinderle worked as an assistant controller in the health care field. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State University. An active member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), Eastern Association Student Financial Aid Administrators (EASFAA), New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association (NYSFAAA) and Pennsylvania Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (PASFAA), Rinderle is regularly asked to speak at national and regional conferences to share tips on how schools can navigate new compliance regulations. He presented at the NYSFAAA conference on Oct. 23.

D. McClintock

David McClintock (USC), CPA, president and director of McClintock & Associates, has been invited to join the advisory board for Career Education Review (CER), a prominent trade publication for institutional leaders in post-secondary education.

Joining 16 esteemed leaders in the educational field, the Upper St. Clair resident will offer his expertise on compliance and regulatory issues, which top management, owners, sector leaders and suppliers need to know to operate a successful educational institution.

McClintock joined McClintock & Associates in 2003 and was appointed a director and shareholder in 2010. Prior to joining McClintock, he held various positions in the investment industry, including as a hedge fund analyst. A certified public accountant, McClintock obtained his MBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and his undergraduate degree in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. McClintock also holds a Series 7 license.
