Upper St. Clair High School’s Performing Arts Department will present “Ah, Wilderness” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25 and 27, with afternoon matinees offered at 2 p.m. Oct. 27 and 28, in the Upper St. Clair High School theatre. A comedy of recollection in three acts, “Ah, Wilderness!” creates a picture of American life set in 1906 and celebrates an America as yet untouched by world war, widespread poverty, divorce and other social ills. Tickets at $8 for adults and $5 for students are available at www.usctheater.org. USC senior citizens are free with a USC Gold Card, but Gold Card holders must obtain their free theater tickets in person at the box office (for information, contact Nancy Dunn at 412-833-1600 ext. 2236 or ndunn@uscsd.k12.pa.us).

The McMurray Lions Club is selling Koeze Nut products, including cashews, mixed nuts, chocolates, caramel crunch and more. Purchase them as holiday gifts for family, friends and business associates. Peters Township announces its fall leaf collection schedule. Leaves will be collected on the following dates: Week 1 – Oct. 22-29; Week 2 – Oct. 29-Nov. 2; Week 3 – Nov. 5-9; Week 4 – Nov. 12-16; Week 5 – Nov. 26-30. There will be no pick-up Thanksgiving week. Leaves must be in paper leaf/lawn bags, and will be collected the same day garbage is collected. Leaves must be out by 6 a.m. of pickup day. During this five-week period, grass clippings should be in plastic bags. Only leaves should be in paper bags.

The Independence Middle School Student Council and the students who participate in the Bring A Smile To The Service Group invite all area veterans and active service members to a Pancakes and Sausage Breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. Nov. 9, in the Independence Middle School Library Commons, 2807 Bethel Church Road.
