Active at Any Age
Spencer Family YMCA, Bethel Park, offers Active at Any Age, a senior health and wellness program for ages 60 and older. Come on Fridays from 1 to 2 p.m. for Social Sessions or for any Active at Any Age Group exercise class Mondays through Fridays. The YMCA offers water exercise, yoga, tai chi, cardio, strength, stretching and toning classes, as well as volunteer opportunities and social events with Active at Any Age. Dormont AARP
Dormont AARP #3016 meets at noon the second Thursday of each month, year round, at Unity Presbyterian Church, 1146 Greentree Road. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Light refreshments are provided. Activities include entertainment, speakers, pancake brunch, covered dish dinner, annual picnic and Christmas party, fundraisers and travel opportunities. Chair dance class
Senior chair dance classes are offered from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Mondays at the Peters Township Recreation Center for those ages 60 and older. Cost is $60 for members and $90 for non-members. For information, visit www.peterstownship.com.
Pickleball
The Community & Recreation Center at Boyce Mayview Park, Upper St. Clair, offers beginner pickleball play from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays, and intermediate/advanced pickleball play from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. To learn more, call 412-221-1099.

Theater-minded seniors
Better Than Ever Independents, also known as Sassy Seniors, is a theatrical group that performs vaudeville-type shows at nursing homes, AARP meetings and more. New members age 50 and older are needed. For more information, email jangary2@hotmail.com.
