At Bethany Lutheran Church, Bethel Park, a free pancake and sausage breakfast will be held before worship on March 3. The breakfast will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. Registration is required by calling 412-835-9221 or by clicking on “Going” on the Facebook event page (www.facebook.com/BLCBP). Donations are appreciated. Proceeds benefit the vacation Bible school program.
At Church of the Atonement, Carnegie, healing services with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist are conducted at 6:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month.
At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, Alpha Course meets from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Fridays. A free dinner is provided, with DVD teaching and small group discussion to introduce the basics of Christianity. The course is for anyone who wants to learn more. Register on the church website.
GriefShare meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays, through March 28, or from 10 a.m. to noon on Fridays, through March 29. This 10-week Bible-based support group consists of DVD teaching followed by time for discussion and sharing. Start anytime; return for any missed classes. Registration is $15 and includes a workbook.
