Mt. Lebanon Public Library proved the cool place to be July 13 as patrons, benefactors, sponsors and donors enjoyed an evening of cool jazz and dessert during the annual garden party.The Stardust Swing Band provided the entertainment. The event featured a silent auction for a variety of handcrafted birdhouses as well as raffles for door prizes donated by area vendors and shops. The event preceded the annual garden tour, which featured eight properties abloom with flowers of the season. Proceeds from the garden party and tour benefit Mt. Lebanon Public Library.
