BASH luncheon

The Black Association of South Hills for Women (BASH) will hold its scholarship fundraiser luncheon on March 23, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Meadowlands, 340 Racetrack Road, Washington. Theme: “Everything Old is New Again.” Tickets at $40 are available from a member or online at www.bashforwomen.com. Scholarships are awarded to black high school seniors who want to pursue a post-secondary education.

Spaghetti dinner

St. Pius X Byzantine Church located at 2336 Brownsville Road in Carrick will hold a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 2 to 7 p.m. March 24. There will be raffles, a Chinese auction, bake sale, disc jockey and other entertainment. Tickets are $10. Children under 5 eat for free. Tickets will be available at the door. The event will benefit Sam Langol, a 3-year-old member of the parish who was one of the first children in Pittsbugh to be diagnosed with Acute Flacid Myelitis (AFM). Princess Tea Party

The 7th annual Princess Tea Party will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on March 30, in the Bishop Canevin School Gym, 2700 Morange Road, Pittsburgh. A donation of $30 per princess (ages 2-9, adults are free) includes: one ticket for a door prize, hair styled with choice of hair item, makeup and a jewel from the “Queen’s Jewels,” make-your-own fairy princess wand, nails painted with choice of royal tattoo, tea (pink lemonade), tea sandwiches and a cookie. Pink Pamper event

Pink Pamper will present “The Bubble Ball” from 6 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Circuit Center & Ballroom, South Side, Pittsburgh, to celebrate the 2nd Annual “Woman of Courage Award.” Special guest will be WTAE-TV anchor Kelly Frey. Enjoy wine and spirits, culinary delights, and shop at the Pink Pamper Marketplace. There will be dancing to Loyal Entertainment, food tasting and sipping, an auction and 50/50 raffle, cash bar and valet parking. Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall presents Listen Locally Downstairs with Geese in the Bog at 7 p.m. March 20. Doors open at 6:30. Bereavement

Through its Pastoral Care Department, the AHN Canonsburg Hospital is currently offering a Bereavement Support Group from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, through April 10, for anyone grieving a recent loss. Self-care for caregivers

Aspect Life Coaching and Serenity Center will offer a self-care workshop for caregivers of children with special needs. The four-week workshop, facilitated by Darlene Nelson, ALCSC owner and Certified Life Coach, will be held March 21-April 11.
