Free Shred-It events

1 min read

Guardian Storage will host its free annual Shred-It Event at three locations locally, including Pleasant Hills, the Strip District and Bridgeville, for individuals and local businesses. There is a limit of five file boxes (or the equivalent) per person, and file clips must be removed beforehand. If there is space on the Shred-It truck at the end of the event, Guardian will shred more.

In addition to unwanted documents, individuals can bring electronic equipment, including laptops, computers, cell phones, printers and non-Freon containing appliances to recycle. (Note: TVs or monitors will not be accepted.) Shredding will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The schedule includes: Pleasant Hills on April 11, Strip District on April 12, and Washington and Bridgeville locations on April 13. Because Guardian is offering this service free of charge, participants are asked to provide a voluntary cash or in-kind school supplies donation to support The Education Partnership.
