At Bethel Presbyterian Church, a light supper will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, through April 10. A study on significant events in the life of Christ will follow at 7:15.
At Church of the Atonement, Carnegie, healing services with a celebration of the Holy Eucharist are conducted at 6:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month.
At Ruthfred Lutheran Church, Bethel Park, the Wednesday evening Soup and Sandwich Supper continues from 6 to 7 p.m. Evening worship follows at 7:30. For more information, visit ruthfredlutheran.org.
At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, Alpha Course meets from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Fridays. A free dinner is provided, with DVD teaching and small group discussion to introduce the basics of Christianity. The course is for anyone who wants to learn more. Register at www.southhillsag.org.
- Life Recovery, a confidential Christian recovery group for any addiction, 7 p.m. Wednesdays. This is an open meeting. Family Rescue, support and healing for family members and loves ones negatively impacted by addiction, also meets at 7 p.m. then separates into its own small group.
- Spring Fest, noon to 3 p.m. April 6, at Hillcrest Christian Academy, 2500 Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park. Activities include an egg hunt, games, prizes, photos with the Easter bunny and more. Park at the church and ride the shuttle. Register at www.southhillsag.org/EVENTS.
- At Upper St. Clair Alliance Church, Going beyond Simulcast with Priscilla Shirer, formerly known as the Priscilla Shirer Simulcast, will take place from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. April 6. Doors open at 9. Along with Shirer, Christian recording artist Anthony Evans will lead worship via simulcast. The Going beyond Simulcast brings women together for a day of biblical teaching, prayer and worship. Fee of $20 includes a boxed lunch from Chick-fil-A and snacks.
