Roundtable discussion

A roundtable discussion focusing on racism, discrimination and inclusion in the community and schools, organized by Bethel Park elected and appointed officials and community leaders, will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 6.

The meeting will focus on ways to ensure that Bethel Park is an open and welcoming community for all. Because of social distancing restrictions with the COVID-19 pandemic, the public will be able to view the meeting live on BPTV and its Facebook page, and it will be rebroadcast on BPTV and its YouTube Channel.

South Hills Coin Club

The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin Club will be held at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Avenue in Bethel Park. Please note the location change.

All members and the general public are invited. This month’s program will be the summer pizza party, which normally is held in July. A 50/50 will be offered and children’s prizes awarded. Applications are being accepted for membership. For more information call 724-984-6611.

Library trustees

The Mt. Lebanon Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 18 as an addition to their annual meeting schedule.

The agenda with location and public comment options will be posted the week before the meeting at www.mtlebanon.org.

Virtual marketplace

Handmade Arcade, Pittsburgh’s first and largest independent craft fair, announces applications and dates for its first-ever virtual marketplace.

Digital DIY: A Virtual Marketplace will launch on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28, and run through Dec. 6. Produced by Handmade Arcade, DIGITAL DIY will showcase 150 innovative crafters, makers, designers and artists from the Pittsburgh region and throughout the United States.

Applications are being accepted through Aug. 22 at www.zapplication.org/event-info.php?ID=8663. Applicants will be notified by Sept. 25. Application fee is $15, non-refundable, and the fee for accepted vendors is $150.
