Mt. Lebanon Republican Committee meeting
The Mt. Lebanon Republican Committee woill hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 11 to introduce its new leadership. The meeting will be held on Zoom because of COVID-19 restrictions. South Hills Coin Club
The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin Club will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave.

Veterans Day dinner
Pittsburgh South Hills Elks will honor veterans with a free Veterans Day dinner.
From 3 to 8 p.m. Nov. 11, veterans with proof of service can eat in or take out meals at the Elks lodge, 2780 South Park Road, Bethel Park.

Veterans Day service
The Southwestern Pennsylvania Registered Nurses Club will hold its annual Veterans Day Memorial Service at noon Nov. 11 at the South Park nursing war memorials on Corrigan Drive. All military nurses will be remembered with a wreath placed at the monuments.
The program will include the Rev. Jon Brzek, retired U.S. Navy command chaplain; Clarence Hopson, deputy director of recreation for Allegheny County Parks; and bagpiper Bradley Wilson.
The public is welcome. Masks are required, and social distancing will be enforced.
Cookie sale
In lieu of their annual Christmas Cookie and Gift Bazaar, the United Methodist Women of Mt. Lebanon will be selling boxes of homemade Christmas cookies that are safely packaged.
A large box is $20 and a small box, $10. Each box contains an assortment of varieties such as iced cutout sugar cookies, buttery shortbread, spicy ginger crinkles, chocolate chip, old-fashioned oatmeal and more.
Boxes will be ready for pickup at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3319 W. Liberty Ave., from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 12 and 9:30 a.m. to noon Dec. 13.
To reserve your boxes, order by Nov. 20. Call the church office at 412-561-7131 with your name, phone number, email address, and the number and size of the boxes you want to purchase.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit relief organizations that support women, children and youth.
Cookies may contain nuts, eggs, flour and other allergens.
Chanukah toy drive
Chabad of the South Hills is conducting its annual Chanukah toy drive for hospitalized and underprivileged children.
New, unwrapped toys are being accepted. Ideas include puzzles, games, art supplies, dolls, play food and kitchen items, and baby toys.
Toys can be dropped off between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until Dec. 4 at Chabad of the South Hills, 1701 McFarland Road, Mt. Lebanon. For more information, call 412-278-2658.
Ornament sale
The Bethel Park Historical Society is selling holiday ornaments that honor veterans.
Area residents are invited to honor their veterans on a custom three-inch porcelain ornament featuring the veteran’s photo and branch of military service. Orders are being accepted through Dec. 1 for the ornaments, which are $25 each or two for $40. Ornaments will be available for pickup at the Schoolhouse Arts and History Center, 2600 South Park Road, from 5 to 8 p.m. December 17. Proceeds from the sale will be used to fund ongoing restoration efforts at the Schoolhouse.

Christmas tree sale
The Keystone Oaks High School Marching Band continues its 20-year-plus tradition of selling Christmas trees as its biggest fundraiser of the year.
The sale begins at 3 p.m. Nov. 28 in the Dormont Pool parking lot, 1801 Dormont Ave., and continues from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, until all the trees are sold.

Sale of Koeze products
The McMurray Lions Club is selling Koeze products – such as cashews, mixed nuts, chocolates, caramel corn and more – in time for the holiday season.

Virtual divorce workshop
A virtual divorce workshop for women is scheduled for 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 14. The informational session focuses on the legal, financial and emotional issues associated with divorce.
