South Hills Coin Club
The South Hills Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave.
All members and the general public are invited. This month’s program is the annual Christmas party. A 50/50 will be offered and children’s prizes to be awarded. Applications are being accepted for membership.

Chanukah event
The Annual South Hills Lights presents “Chanuka Drive In” at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 10 in the parking lot of Dormont Pool, 1801 Dormont Ave. The event features the Grand Menorah Lighting, a family-friendly multimedia experience, latkas, doughnuts and Chanukah swag for each car.
RSVP is required to register your vehicle at www.chabadsh.com/lights. The free event is sponsored by Dormont Borough and Chabad of the South Hills in Mt. Lebanon, and it strictly adheres to all COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Drive-up food distribution
South Hills Interfaith Movement and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will conduct a drive-up food distribution from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 12 at Bethel Park High School, 309 Church Road.
The distribution is open to everyone and will have enough capacity to serve 1,000 vehicles. Pre-packed boxes of food containing non-perishable items, meat, fruits and vegetables will be distributed per car.

Cookbook for nonprofits
Help support nonprofit organizations by ordering the McMurray Rotary Cookbook, featuring nearly 200 pages’ worth of recipes from club members, family members, friends and a few authentic chefs.
All proceeds go to the club’s philanthropy beneficiaries, a list of which is provided in the book.
