South Hills Coin Club
The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin Club will be held at 7:30 p.m. July 13 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave. All members and the general public are invited.
The program is on early U.S. half dollars and silver dollars. A 50/50 will be offered and children’s prizes awarded. Applications are being accepted for membership.

Flea market
Church of the Atonement, 618 Washington Ave., Carnegie has scheduled an outdoor flea market for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 17.
Space rental for vendors is $10. Bring your own table, blanket and chair.
Items for sale include toys, golf bag and clubs, kitchen items, linens, yarn, lamps and puzzles. Those in attendance who have not been vaccinated must wear masks.

Benefit run in Peters Twp.
City Mission’s sixth annual Mission Possible run is scheduled for 8 a.m. Aug. 7 at Peterswood Park, 750 Bebout Road, Peters Township.
The event benefits Crabtree Kovacicek Veterans House, a 22-bed rehabilitative shelter for homeless veterans. AccuTrex Products Inc. has offered to match every dollar raised up to $10,000.
Along with the in-person run/walk at the park, there is a virtual component this year. You can choose your own route and run or walk any time between Aug. 1 and 7 to participate.
The in-person registration costs $25, which includes your event T-shirt. The virtual event costs $35, which covers the shipping and handling of the shirt sent right to your door.
