Chabad events
Chabad of the South Hills, 1701 McFarland, Mt. Lebanon, is hosting a Ladies Learning Course at 10 a.m. on three consecutive Mondays, July 5, 12 and 19.
Also, a Summer Ladies Night is scheduled for 7 p.m. July 14, with painting, wine and refreshments. No experience is necessary. Cover is $15 or $20 after July 9.

South Hills Coin Club
The monthly meeting of the South Hills Coin Club will be held at 7:30 p.m. July 13 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building, 5100 W. Library Ave. All members and the general public are invited.
The program is on early U.S. half dollars and silver dollars. A 50/50 will be offered and children’s prizes awarded. Applications are being accepted for membership.

Benefit run in Peters Twp.
City Mission’s sixth annual Mission Possible run is scheduled for 8 a.m. Aug. 27 at Peterswood Park, 750 Bebout Road, Peters Township.
The event benefits Crabtree Kovacicek Veterans House, a 22-bed rehabilitative shelter for homeless veterans. AccuTrex Products Inc. has offered to match every dollar raised up to $10,000.
Along with the in-person run/walk at the park, there is a virtual component this year. You can choose your own route and run or walk any time between Aug. 1-7 to participate.
The in-person registration costs $25, which includes your event T-shirt. The virtual event costs $35, which covers the shipping and handling of the shirt sent right to your door.
