BP CONCERT
The “No Bad JuJu” group will preform from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, during the “Park and Play” event at performance at Millennium Park in Bethel Park.
The original performance date (June 26) was postponed due to inclement weather.
The municipality’s “Park & Play” program, offers events to area residents each month from May to September throughout the community’s parks.
In addition to live, free music, there will be food trucks as well as refreshments from Wu’s Shaved Ice and Wild River Kettle Korn available for purchase.

ICE CREAM EVENT
In celebration of National Ice Cream Day, Peters Township Parks and Recreation will host an “I Scream For Ice Cream” event from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. July 14 at the community center. Ages 3 to 5, accompanied by an adult, can participate in activities that will include games, crafts and a treat.
Fee is $8 ($12 for non-members).

BOOK SALE
The Bethel Park Lions Club will hold a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 22at Lions Park, 5757 Irishtown Road.
Thousands of items including hard- and soft-backed books, children’s books, young adult collections, manga, CD’s, DVD’s, VHS tapes and puzzles are priced to sell at $1 or less. Proceeds benefit Lions Club Charities.

FARMERS MARKET
The Carnegie famers market operates Sundays through September on East Main Street between Broadway and Mary Streets.
On July 31, there will be a butterfly festival. The holiday market is set for Nov. 20.

WALKING TOURS
A Pittsburgh walking tour exploring the best places and special spaces will be held from 9:45 a.m. to noon on July 7. Tickets are $30 per person and includes a guidebook. The tour is limited to 10 participants.
The Sewickley walking tour will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. July 9. Tickets are $20 per person. Tour is limited to 20 participants.
Grant Streets tour will be held from 6 to 7:15 p.m. July 13 or from 10 to 11:15 a.m. July 22. The walk covers Sixth Street to Liberty Avenue. Tickets are $20 per person. Tour is limited to 20 participants.

CONCERT EVENT
The Miguel Espinoza Fusion: Living in a Daydream Tour will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. July 26 at Sunnyhill Church, located at 1240 Washington Rd. in Mt. Lebanon.
Visually and aurally stunning, with flamenco/jazz guitar, fiery cello, riveting salsa, and Indian tabla, the show features the Grammy-winning pianist and harmonicist Howard Levy.
Advance tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students K through 12. A pay-what-you-can option is also available at the door.

TROLLEY HOURS
The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday during the summer.
The museum is opposite the Washington County Fairgrounds and can be found by taking Exit 41 off 1nterstate 79 and following the signs for three miles.

GOLF OUTING
The Crusader Classic Golf Outing will be held Aug. 29 at Chartiers Country Club.
The event supports and provides tuition assistance to students and helps make improvements to the campus at Bishop Canevin High School.

CRAFT FAIR
Bower Hill Volunteer Fire Department will hold a craft and vendor fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 7 at the fire department on Vanadium Road. A variety of vendors will participate, with basket raffles on every table. Refreshments will be available.
