SINGERS WANTED
The Harmony Singers are looking for new members.
Practices are held at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at the Brightwood Church, 5044 West Library Road in Bethel Park.
All voices are needed. Performance experience and the ability to read music are preferred but not required.
The Harmony Singers have been entertaining for over 50 years. The group performs a wide variety of music including Broadway, rock ‘n’ roll, patriotic and pop tunes. The group performs for civic, social, church and business organizations.

CARNEGIE LUNCH
The College Club of Carnegie will meet April 2 at Scoglio’s Restaurant in Green Tree.
The “Splashes of Spring” themed luncheon will feature a craft demonstration. A social meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. with lunch following at noon. A Chinese auction to benefit the scholarship fund will also be held.

KIDS THEATER
Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus will be presented at 2 p.m. March 27 at the Byham Theater.
The musical features actors, puppets, songs and feathers as a crisis to the bus driver threatens to make the passengers late.
The script is based on the award-winning “Pigeon” picture books along with a collaboration with Disney Jr.’s Muppet Babies executive producer Mr. Warburton. It features music by Deborah Wicks La Puma, the composer behind “Elephant & Piggie’s We Are in a Play.”
The 60-minute performance is recommended for ages 3 and up.

CLOTHING DRIVE
Center Presbyterian Church in McMurray will hold a clothing drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 2 to benefit the programs of City Mission. Drive through the parking lot and items will be taken from your vehicle to the City Mission truck.
PAINTERS MEETING
The next meeting of the Golden Triangle Decorative Painters will be March 20 at the Finleyville I.O.O.F. Hall, 3684 Finleyville-Elrama Rd., Finleyville. The class starts at 9 a.m. and will be painting an Easter Box with Rosemary Habers. Walker bags were painted for veterans at the last meeting and will be donated to local vets. Donations are still being accepted for the Animal Friends project.
The annual basket luncheon will be April 24 at the Sunset Room at Fairview Hall in Bridgeville. For tickets, contact Laura at 724-785-5592.
SOCK BUNNIES
Peters Township Parks and Recreation will hold a Ladies Night: Sock Bunnies from 7 to 8 p.m. April 6 at the community center.
Ages 18 and older can participate in this exchange where old foot apparel is refashioned into a cute bunny for home decor. Participants bring the socks but all other supplies will be included.
Fee is $10 ($15 non-members).

AUP SOCIAL
The Association of University People/AUP will hold a social at 4 p.m. March 25 at Primanti’s, 1539 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon.
The organization is seeking members who are single and four-year college graduates over 50 to join in for monthly dinners, activities, socials and gatherings.

INTERN WANTED
The Peters Township Public Library is seeking qualified candidates (18 and over) for the position of Youth Services Summer Intern. This paid part-time position requires working up to 15 hours per week including a least one evening per week and one Saturday per month.

COMEDY NIGHT
Scott Township Public Library will sponsor a comedy night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 9 at the Scott Park Lodge in Carnegie.
The event features Matt Stanton and special guest Gab Bones.

WPGA EVENT
The Western Pennsylvania Junior Golf Association is hosting an event for all junior golfers, ages 11-18, parents and high school golf coaches at 5:30 p.m. March 30 at Oakmont Country Club.
The program will be focused on providing attendees information on how to best prepare themselves to be a better player and what opportunities may be ahead of them in the game of golf. The evening will be interactive. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance via email. The panel will share experiences and knowledge of golf. The panel will focus on answering questions about championship preparations, scheduling, routines, opportunities the game may provide, and balancing golf with life.
Western Pennsylvania Golf Hall of Fame member, Sean Knapp moderates.
Dress is golf casual. Blue jeans are not permitted.

VIRTUAL BALLET
Swan Lake will be presented virtually to children, ages 3 to 7, by the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Let’s Move Pittsburgh. The hour-long feature will also give the audience a peek into the Phipps Conservatory’s spring flower show.
The show begins at noon April 10. Virtual admission is $12 or $8 for Phipps member and PBT subscribers.

MCP at USC
The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh (MCP) presents Toward the Unknown Region, a concert about boldly emerging from these uncertain times with daring optimism and a sense of renewal, at 7:30 p.m. April 2 at the Hillman Center for Performing Arts at Shadyside Academy and at 2:30 p.m. April 3 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Upper St. Clair.
