Area actors help stage Peter Pan
Peter Pan flies Into Andrew Carnegie Music Hall for two performances at 8 p.m. April 30 and at 2 p.m. May 1. The theatre is located at 300 Beechwood Ave. in Carnegie.
Several local artists will reprise roles in the delightful tale of a boy who wouldn’t grow up.
Captain Hook is portrayed by Alexis Retcofsky of Crafton portrays Captain Hook. He is a graduate of Theater Arts at Point Park University.
Kendra Spolter of Chartiers Valley Middle School depicts Peter Pan.
Sarah Kief of Bridgeville is Wendy Darling who flies to Neverland to tell stories to the Lost Boys. She is a junior at Lincoln Park Performing Arts.
Tinkerbell is danced by Ellie Cozza of Carnegie. She is a student at Chartiers Valley
Tiger Lily is portrayed by Lana Platt of Carnegie.
An array of fantastical characters inhabit the island of Neverland including mermaids, fish, pirates and the Lost Boys.
Director Monica Ryan choreographs the original production with a cast of 50 children. The ballet is based on the story by famous Scottish author J.M.Barrie.
Tickets, available at the door, are $20 for adults, $18 for students and seniors. Group rates are available.
Advanced tickets can be purchased at the Music Hall Box Office from April 25 – April 29 from 6-8 p.m.
