The Andrew Carnegie Free Library and Music Hall, located at 300 Beechwood Ave. in Carnegie, will feature two productions this month.

Freckleface Strawberry, The Musical will be presented by Stage 62 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturdays, Feb. 11 and 18, and at 3 p.m. Sundays, Feb. 12 and 19.

Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for children and $11 for group rate.

Based on the New York Times best-selling book by celebrated actress, Julianne Moore, the production is a fun and touching family musical. Specifically created for young audiences, families can step inside of the book’s pages with Freckleface and friends as they learn to “love the skin they’re in.”

Visit http://www.stage62.org for more details on the performance.

Cinderella will be performed by the Carnegie Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Feb. 25 and 2 p.m. Feb. 26.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $18 for children, students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at the box office the day of the shows or by going to www.carnegieperformingartscenter.com and following the ticket link.

While the story is well known of an orphaned girl living with her evil stepmother and meeting her Prince Charming, the role of Cinderella is played by Lana Platt. She is a Chartiers Valley Middle School student. Also from CV, Shiane Pelescak portrays one of the stepsisters. Maggie Nelis of Coraopolis and West Allegheny Middle School is the other stepsister. Ana Lewis of Carnegie is the Fairy Godmother.
