CRAFT SHOW

The South Park Women’s Club will host its annual craft show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 14 at Broughton Fire Hall, 1030 Cochrans Mill Road. In addition to more than 50 craft vendors, there will be a bake sale, auction, refreshments and raffles as well as food and drinks to purchase. Admission and parking are free. FLEA MARKET

The Church of the Atonement, located at 618 Washington Ave. in Carnegie, will hold a flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 22 and 23. The market will close from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday to prepare for the bag sale. Bags will be provided. Call 412-276-0366 for more details.

FOOD FEST

A Mediterranean food festival will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Sept. 22 and 23 and from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 24 at St. George Orthodox Church, located at 3230 Washington Pike in Bridgeville. Parking is free. Among the featured items will be abouli, meat pies, spinach pies, grape leaves, Kibbee and baklawa. Take-out is available and orders can be placed online. BINGO

A parking lot bingo for senior citizens only will be played from noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Peters Township Community Recreation Center, located at 700 Meredith Dr. Players receive disposable cards and markers and honk their horn when they get a bingo. Call 724-942-5000 for more details.

CONCERT

The Southwestern Registered Nurses Club will meet at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 19 at Hamilton Presbyterian Church, 4500 Hamilton Road in Bethel Park. Dr. Joseph Malone, assistant professor of Neuro-Cognitve Disorders at the University of Pittsburgh, will speak about “The AHEAD Study-Alzheimer’s Disease Clinical Trial.” All registered nurses are invited.

PICKLEBALL

Introduction to pickleball classes will be offered Fridays from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning Sept. 29 and from 2 to 3 p.m. Sundays beginning Sept. 24 at the Peters Township Tennis Center, located at 610 E. McMurray Road. Fee is $100 per session or $20 per class. Learn about equipment, scoring, rules, service, groundstrokes and volleys. Equipment is available to borrow. JIU-JITSU

Jiu-Jitsu classes are being offered Mondays from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. for ages 7 to 12 and from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. for ages 13 to 17 at the Peters Township Recreation Center. DIY PUMPKIN

The Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department offers the following:

Leaf Lantern making from 6 to 7:15 p.m. Sept. 20. Ages 7 to 11 pick leaves in Peterswood Park to make a one-of-a-kind lantern to display at home. Fee is $5 ($8 nonmembers).

COLLEGE CLUB

ART SHOW

South Arts Pittsburgh is holding an art show from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Schoolhouse Art & History Center, located at 2600 South Park Road. The Bethel Park Historical Society will also hold its open house from noon to 3 p.m. and conduct tours. The event also coincides with the Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company open house across the street.

ART FESTIVAL

Mt. Lebanon’s annual juried arts festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in the Academy lot, located on Academy Avenue behind The Saloon and Rollier’s Hardware. The artist’s market, sponsored by the Mt. Lebanon Partnership, will include 60 to 80 booths featuring professional quality original art in a variety of media. The free event will also offer food and entertainment.

ADOPT A PET

The Creatures of The Creator (COTC) Pet Ministry of Unity Presbyterian Church will host Animal Adoption Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 30 in the parking lot and indoors at 1146 Greentree Road. Angel Ridge Animal Rescue, Animal Advocates, Cats N’At, 4 Walls Fosters, Furkins Rescue, The Great Pyrenees Club of Western Pennsylvania Rescue, People’s Animal Care & Rescue and Wishbone Pet Care/Animal Sanctuary will be among the organizations supplying healthy, adoptable pets to the rain-or-shine event. BIKE TOUR

Tour the Montour will be held Sept. 23. The event offers cycling events ranging in distances from 10 miles to a century (62 miles) on the Montour Trail beginning at Mile Zero in Coraopolis. There are four rest/snack/water stops along the way as well as a safety patrol. A post-ride lunch is included at the Forest Grove Sportsmen Club, which is at about mile marker 1.5 on the trail.
