Autumn in the Garden returns to Pittsburgh Botanic Garden

Pittsburgh Botanic Garden will host weekly activities on the Sundays in October to celebrate the fall season.
Sponsored by EQT, the annual Autumn in the Garden features a different theme about the beauty and wonder of the season. Kids of all ages will enjoy crafts and programs being held throughout the gardens and woodlands.
These family-friendly, nature-based programs are included with admission and will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This year’s themes include:
n Oct. 1 — Monarch Migration. Activities will include a tour of the Margaret Lawrence Simon Dogwood Meadow and Hillside Pollinator Garden.
n Oct. 8 – Fall Blooms. The Greater Pittsburgh Dahlia Society will present a show of blooms during the weekend. All visitors can examine up close these fascinating blooms.
n Oct. 15 – Eco Art. In conjunction with Unearthed: Eco Art in the Landscape, visitors can create their own art.
n Oct. 22 – Trees and Leaves. Throughout the day, guided tours of native trees will be held, focusing on how to identify and care for them.
