SHWC MEET

GIANT OAKS
The Giant Oaks Garden Club will meet at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 5 at St. David’s Episcopal Church, located at 905 McMurray Road. Transferring plants indoors will be the topic of discussion. Fee is $6. Guests are welcome but must register by calling 724-470-6170.

CHABAD EVENTS
A Ladies Night Out paint-and-sip in the Sukkah will be held at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Chabad of the South Hills. Price is $15. Email www.chabadsh.com to register.

CATNIG BINGO
A catnip bingo will be held Oct. 15 at Salvatore’s, located at 5001 Curry Road. Doors open at noon. Proceeds benefit FosterCat Inc., which supports cat rescue, care, foster and adoption. Tickets are $45 and include 10 bingo games (six to a card) and a hot buffet luncheon with dessert and beverage.

The event also coincides with the Bethel Park Volunteer Fire Company open house across the street.
