John McMillan Presbyterian Church, located at 875 Clifton Road in Bethel Park, is offering no-cost seminars from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays beginning Feb. 26. The schedule of seminars will include the solution to the biggest problem in sales and methods to increase sales for the first hour followed by social skills such as training of marriage enrichment, building relationships, eliminating fears of rejection and failure, building self-confidence and self-image, and finding and successfully interviewing for a job. PT PROGRAMS

Registration for session two of the one-day programs offered by the Peters Township recreation department in March and April has begun. Programs among others include: Mad Science-Brixology Boats, Bunny Hop, Fox In Socks, story time and craft; Me and My Grand, Egg Scramble and Earth Day Celebration. TIE-DYE PARTY

WORKSHOP

The Peters Township library will host a free workshop on how to write life stories at 1 p.m. Feb. 24. Lisa Grazan and James R. Hagerty will be featured. Grazan, a former lawyer, is a writer of memoirs and other life stories and the author of “5 Wellness Archetypes: Reveal Your Personality, Master Your Health.” Hagerty is a veteran Wall Street Journal obituary writer and the author of “Yours Truly: An Obituary Writer’s Guide to Telling Your Story.” The workshop will feature tips on how to preserve stories and the life lessons learned as well as provide guidance on how to write an obituary or longer memoirs.

FAIRWAY SWINGERS

The Fairway Swingers are looking for new members for its ladies golf league. The group golfs Thursday mornings from April through October at the Mt. Lebanon municipal golf course. COLLEGE CLUB

The College Club of Carnegie will meet March 2 at Scoglio’s Restaurant, 661 Andersen Drive, Foster Plaza Building No. 7. Social starts at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. Peters Township is offering the following at the community recreation center:

Ladies Night Out from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Feb. 21 for ages 18 and older. Participants will create a one-of-a-kind shelf ladder from rulers. All supplies provided. Bring snacks. Fee is $10 ($15 nonmembers).

Senior Scrabble from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 22. Admission is free.

Private and semi-private pickleball lessons for ages 18 and over.

COMEDY NIGHT

A Jewish Comedy Night will be held at 7:30 p.m. March 3 at the Carnegie Stage. Chris Monty is the featured comedian with David Kaye as the opening act. SOUPS ON

The South Hills Elks Lodge No. 2213 gives away free quarts of soup from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays until supplies are gone. Take-out only. The lodge is located at 2789 South Park Road.

TAX HELP

Free tax Assistance will be offered until April 4 at The Bible Chapel, located at 300 Gallery Drive in McMurray. Hours are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The office is closed April 1. No appointments. Filers are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Filers should provide last year’s tax return, identification, Social Security numbers, birth dates, all W-2 forms and 1099 tax documents (including Social Security 1099), health care statements and property tax receipts. GOLFERS WANTED
