Pittsburgh Passion opens season
Pittsburgh Passion kicks off its 11th season of action in the Woman’s Football Alliance when The Passion host Washington D.C. at 7 p.m. April 6 at the Highmark Stadium in Station Square.
With 62 teams, the WFA is the largest and fastest growing women’s tackle football league in America. It is a full-contact football league.

One of the Passion’s standouts is Rachel Wojdowski. The Bethel Park High School graduate is in her third season. The daughter of Jack and Sue Wojdowski is a wide receiver for the Passion. By day, she is the director of basketball operations for the Duquesne University women’s basketball team.
After traveling to New York for a game April 20, the Passion return home to host the Columbus Comets on April 27.
