Bethel Park High School will present “42nd Street” at 7:30 p.m. April 3-6 in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $8-$10 and may be purchased at the door on performance evenings. Senior citizens can receive half-price admission to the April 3 and 4 performances only. Students in kindergarten through fourth grade can receive half-price admission to all performances, but only if the seats are obtained at the door on the evening of the performance. • The Hamilton Presbyterian Church’s Annual Rummage sale will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 6.
Antiques and collectibles will be located on the upper level and household items, toys, clothing, books, furniture and more will be downstairs. Food and beverages will be available. The church is at the corner of Baptist and Hamilton roads across from Cool Spring driving range.
The Bridgeville Public Library will hold its first Taste of the Town fundraiser from 6-10 p.m. April 13. in the Bridgeville Fire Hall. Tickets are $50 per person. Guests will enjoy cuisine by area restaurants including Batter & Dough Bakery, Bubba’s, Burgh’s Pizza and Wings, Calabria’s of Frosty Valley, Country Style Pizza, Cucina Bella, Piccolina’s, Portman’s, Shelby’s Station and Two Brother’s Bar-B-Q. Wine, beer and non-alcohol beverages will be provided. Music will be provided by Savoy Truffle, a Beatles tribute band. Check at the library for more information.
The skateboard park in Town Park opened for the third season April 1. Over the winter, sound-reducing material was added to the ramps. The skateboard park closes at dusk throughout the season.
The township is seeking applications for a public works director/assistant manager. Experience in road maintenance and repair, directing a workforce and duties consistent with running a township office is necessary. Salary is commensurate with experience. The Green Tree Garden Club’s fundraiser Spring ‘N Things will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. May 11 at the Green Tree Fire Hall and parking lot. There will be geraniums in five colors, plants, a bake sale and a flea market along with a Chinese auction, jewelry and crafts.
The woody waste curbside collection will be held April 13. To make reservations, call public works at 412-343-3403 between April 8-11 to have the yard waste of shrubs, tree branches and limbs picked up curbside. Guidelines are available online at the municipality’s website.
The Parks and Recreation Department is looking for volunteers to help with the township’s Community Day June 22. Anyone interested is to contact Deanna Kelly at 724-745-8880.
• The township’s clean-up day is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 27. The township will provide garbage bags, gloves and orange vests. All participants will receive a Go Green thank you T-shirt.

Bob Agnew, known for his photographs of flowers and landscapes, will be the featured speaker at the Western Pennsylvania Lensshooters Camera Club at 7 p.m. April 10. The club will meet in the Peters Township Public Library.
Agnew has traveled from coast to coast photographing the most beautiful parts of the country. He will share some of those images at the meeting. Members are encouraged to participate in the April photo theme assignment, “window light.” Only one print per member.
On April 27, there will be a club field trip to photograph wildflowers at Cedar Creek Park on Route 51 just off Interstate 70. Meet at the Peters Township Public Library at 7:45 a.m. to leave at 8 a.m.

• To help the community get a better understanding of the upcoming changes in health care, the League of Women Voters of Washington County, the Peters Township Chamber of Commerce and the Peters Township Public Library will host “The Affordable Care Act at a Glance,” 10 a.m.-noon April 20 at the library.
The panel discussion format program about the act will provide basic information about the parts of the law that will take effect in 2014 and will explain the new way that individuals, families and small businesses will be able to get health insurance.

The township has partnered with eLoop recycling to establish an electronic recycling drop off at the Public Works building. Items such as televisions, desktop and laptop computers, monitors, printers, stereos, toasters and coffee makers, may be dropped off at the municipal building between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays-Fridays, at 515 Millers Run Road, Morgan. Washington & Jefferson College will sponsor a screening of the documentary “American Meat” followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker and food experts at 6:30 p.m. April in the college’s Dieter-Porter lecture hall.
The screening is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the Grant Street lots.
