Michael and Deborah Grumet of Mt. Lebanon announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison, of Columbus, Ohio, to Andrew Simons also of Columbus. Andrew is the son of Jim and Sharon Simons of Perrysburg, Ohio.

Ali is the granddaughter of the late Morris and Helen Grumet, and the late Joseph and Ruth Slack.

Andy’s grandparents are Orlando and Milly Simons, and the late Donald and Margo Hull.

The future bride is a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and earned her B.S. at Ohio University and her M.A. at Georgia State University. She is a field training manager for Allergan Pharmaceuticals.

Her fiance is a graduate of Perrysburg High School and earned his B.S. at The Ohio State University’s Fisher School of Business. He is an assistant vice president for the Huntington Investment Company in Columbus, Ohio.

An October 2013 wedding is planned in Pittsburgh.
