At Canonsburg U. P. Church, the sixth annual Christmas Laser Show is planned for 6 and 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13. George Dodworth of Lightwave International will present the show. Madonna, Pink Floyd and Tom Cruise’s film “Oblivion” have used Dodworth’s lighting effects. Tickets are available at the church 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays.
At South Hills Assembly, Bethel Park, the Fine Arts Department will present “One Quiet Night” at 7 p.m. Dec. 13-15.

At Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church, Carnegie, an annual Food Festival will take place 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 14. This year’s menu at the “Church with the Blue Domes” will include award-winning pierogies, Russian borscht, homemade kolbassi and homemade hot sausage, plus stuffed cabbage rolls and cabbage and noodles.

At Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Peters, Journey to Bethlehem, an outdoor living nativity is planned 6-8 p.m. Dec. 14. Listen to the prophets, watch the shepherds and follow the stars to Bethlehem. Refreshments offered.

At Baldwin Community U.M. Church, the women’s group will hold its annual homemade cookie sale 9-11 a.m. Dec. 14 to benefit missions. Cookies will be sold for $8 per pound.
At Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women will hold its annual Holiday Cookie & Gift Bazaar 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 14.
In addition to cookies sold by the pound, small-business owners will be selling popular gift items, including jewelry, toys and seasonal decorative items.
Stop by the British tearoom for hot tea, buttery scones and savory soup. All proceeds will be donated to UMW projects and missions.
At St. Patrick Parish, Canonsburg, the Ladies of Charity will sell Christmas flowers and wreaths after all Masses on Dec. 14-15. Proceeds will help purchase gifts for parish shut-ins.
• Father Scott Seethaler will offer spiritual supports for the aging process at 1 p.m. Dec. 16 in St. Patrick Center. Sponsored by Consulate Health Care, Compassionate Care Hospice, Comfort Keepers and Beinhauer Family Funeral Homes, the program offers an opportunity for seniors to reflect on how God works through the different seasons of their lives.
