At Peters Creek Baptist Church, South Park, a Christmas concert is planned at 7 p.m. Dec. 19-20. Drama presentations, choir, musicians and vocalists will be featured. Child care will be available.
At St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Canonsburg, a Christmas bake sale is planned for 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 21.
At St. Barbara Parish, Bridgeville, a bake sale is planned 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 21-22 in the social hall. Nut rolls are $13. Nut horns are $8.50/dozen. Choose from fillings of nuts, poppyseed, apricot and lekvar. Call 412-221-5152 to place an order.
At St. Thomas More Church, Bethel Park, the youth ministry will sing Christmas carols noon-3 p.m. Dec. 21. Middle, high school and college students will travel to nursing homes in the South Hills to bring the Christmas spirit to the sick and elderly. Call 412-969-8374 to register. Adult volunteers are needed to help with driving.

At St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg, the Youth Group will hold its Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 22. Bring a $5 grab bag gift and an ornament for the tree.

At South Hills Church of the Nazarene, Bethel Park, sanctuary choir will present a collection of Christmas music entitled “When Hope Came Down” at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 22. The children’s choir and Hannah Drake will also perform. Refreshments will follow.
At the Church of the Atonement, Carnegie, the 28th Annual Christmas Day Open House and Dinner will take place from noon-3 p.m. Dec. 25 at the Carnegie United Methodist Church.
Because of ongoing, extensive renovations to the basement of the Church of the Attonement after being flooded, the open house will be held at Carnegie U.M.
Shut-ins and those unable to attend can have a meal home delivered by calling 412-279-1944.
