Peters Township Library personnel exceptional
I have never written a letter to the editor, but I must take strong issue with the opinion of Kameron Marelli in her very harsh letter in the June 26 issue. I have been a resident of Peters Township for 13 years and of Upper St. Clair for 23 years before that. I am at the library at least twice a week and I have NEVER been treated rudely. In fact, I enjoy visiting and talking to all of the librarians. There are many senior citizens working there, but there are also ladies and a least one man of varying ages and all have been polite in the extreme, even when very busy and observed under quite stressful conditions. I bring my grandchildren and the librarians always say hello and have a kind word for them. The slur about joining the 21st century was inappropriate and totally unnecessary. For the size of Peters Township, I find the library and its personnel exceptional and I look forward to my visits. I still use the Upper St. Clair Library and I have a Carnegie Library card which I use downtown, and my experience at Peters Township library is equal to either of them; that is to say, all are excellent.
