I was surprised to see the negative letter about the Peters Township Library in the June 26 Almanac. My husband and I have been going there for a year, and have enjoyed every visit, especially the interaction with the library staff. They have been nothing but pleasant and helpful while explaining unfamiliar facilities and procedures, and patient enough to order books from other libraries for us, even though we are senior citizens and therefore difficult to deal with.

I hope with the availability of 14 libraries in the county-wide system, one will have the staff the meets Kameron’s cheerfulness standard.
