Vacation Bible Schools – July 10
St. David Church, Peters Township, will hold its vacation Bible school 9:30 a.m.-noon, Aug. 6-9. The theme is Athens: Paul’s Dangerous Journey to Share the Truth. To register, call 724-941-4060.
Hamilton Presbyterian Church will bring the beach to Bethel Park this year with its “Hamilton Bible Beach” vacation Bible school program, 9 a.m.-noon Aug. 5-9 for children ages 4 through those entering fifth grade.
Children will hear about five times when water was an important part of the Bible teachings. Also, on each of the five days, the Bible study will correlate with a food snack, a craft project music and games.
Hamilton Bible Beach will have all that the beach offers, including fun, water, sand and food but, most importantly, an understanding of the teachings of the Bible as it is applied to the daily life of the child.
The fee is $10/child or $25/family with three or more children and includes a T-shirt for each child. To register, call the church office at 412-844-2722.

Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Castle Shannon, will hold Carnival Fun vacation Bible school from 6-8:30 p.m. July 15-19. Kids preschool to age 13 will learn about God’s love through games, music, stories, crafts and snacks. There is no charge to attend.

Wild West Rodeo Camp will be held at 6:30 p.m. July 22-26 at Peters Creek Baptist Church in South Park. Ages 3-kindergarten will learn Bible teachings, music, crafts, rodeo event training, as well as enjoy refreshments. Caregivers must accompany 3 and 4 year olds.

Peters Creek Presbyterian Church, Venetia, will hold its vacation Bible school 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. July 8-12. Learn how God saved his people from slavery in Egypt during this week of Wild West fun.
SonWest Roundup is for children who have just completed kindergarten-fifth grade. There will also be a select number of preschoolers admitted.
Preschoolers must be at least 3 years old, potty-trained and have attended at least some of preschool prior to VBS.
