Project Bundle-Up Online Auction moves to August/September

2 min read

The Salvation Army and WTAE TV’s Project Bundle-Up’s Annual Online Auction is moving from July to August through early September. More than 400 items have been provided by generous donors and are available for sale online from Aug. 23-Sept. 6. Items include multiple golf certificates, a wide variety of services, gift certificates, furniture, appliances, electronics, gift baskets, signed sports memorabilia and more.

For 27 years, the WTAE Project Bundle-Up Auction has played a critical role in providing hundreds of thousands of coats, hats, mittens and boots for needy children and seniors across Western Pennsylvania. It has raised more than $11.8 million dollars and served more than 236,000 needy kids and seniors with new winter outerwear.

Shop in the convenience of your own home and provide new winter outerwear for area needy kids and seniors by logging on to www.projectbundleup.com, www.wtae.com or www.salvationarmy-wpa.org and follow the prompts and links. The auction can also be accessed through eBay, however, items are only featured on there for a maximum of seven days. The Project Bundle-Up Online Auction offers free shipping on shippable items. Some larger items will require pick-up, and all sales are “as is” and final and cannot be returned for cash.

Donations of items and services to the online auction are still being accepted. For more information, contact Melissa Fereday, Project Bundle-Up director, at 412-446-1639.
