McCracken – Brown
Dick and Marcia McCracken of McMurray announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie, to Luke Brown, son of the Rev. Mark and Joan Brown of Duncansville, Pa.
Julie is the granddaughter of the late Elmer and Martha McCracken of Scottdale, Pa., and the late George and Viola Marie Ross of Pittsburgh.
Luke’s grandparents are Russell and Marilyn Brown of Roaring Spring, Pa., and Ethel and the late Max Landis of Duncansville.
The future bride is a graduate of Peters Township High School. She will graduate from Geneva College in May with bachelor’s degrees in elementary education and special education. She is a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society.
Her fiance is a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and Geneva College, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business finance. He is a staff accountant at Parente Beard in Pittsburgh.
A June wedding is planned.
