Walter – Uselton
Courtney Walter and Evan Uselton were united in marriage on August 4, 2012 at 4 p.m. at the Church of the Covenant in Washington, with the Rev. Stuart D. Broberg officiating.
The bride’s parents are James Walter Jr. of McDonald and Tracy Walter of Oakdale. Her grandparents are Lorna and James Clark of Midway, and James Walter Sr. and the late Ruth Walter of Pittsburgh.
The groom’s parents are Len and Cathy Uselton of North Strabane Township. His grandparents are the late Donald and Doris Fields of Canonsburg and the late Leonard and Mildred Uselton of Washington.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Sidney Walter and Lindsey Walter, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Lauren DiSanto and Lauren Rothstein were bridesmaids.
Best man was Brent Uselton of San Diego, Calif., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Matthew Bartel, Brian Beck, Christopher Bell, Rocco Cozza, David McKenery and Lucas Rendulic, all from the Pittsburgh area, and Anthony Ficalora of Los Angeles, Calif.
Readers were Peggy Iskey, aunt of the bride, and Darlene Uselton, aunt of the groom.
A reception was held in the Rossin Ballroom on the Washington & Jefferson College campus.
The bride is a graduate of Fort Cherry High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in biology. She will graduate in May with a degree in dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine followed by a two-year Pediatric Dentistry residency program at the University of Florida, Naples.
The groom is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School and received a bachelor of arts degree in accounting from Washington & Jefferson College. He is employed as the Accounting and Information Technology manager at FFC Capital Corporation in Pittsburgh.
The newlyweds took a honeymoon to Costa Rica and make their home in Robinson Township.
