Delancey – Richards
Danielle Robin DeLancey and James Robert Richards III were united in marriage March 16 in a sunset ceremony at Cedar Plantation in Acworth, Ga.
Fifty guests were in attendance as the couple exchanged personal vows, followed by a reception. The bride’s sister, Alex Marie Hyland, and best friend, Paula Bandy, served as bridesmaids. Her father, Patrick J. DeLancey, gave her away. The groom’s childhood friends, Matthew Liers and Bryan Garner, served as groomsmen.
The bride is the daughter of Patrick DeLancey of Castle Shannon and Shyrl & Herbert Hyland of Bridgeville. She is a graduate of South Fayette High School and the University of Pittsburgh where she graduated summa cum laude with two bachelor of science degrees (psychology and communications). She received her master’s of business administration from Chatham University and currently works at 360i in Atlanta.
The groom is the son of Bob and Linda Richards of Marietta, Ga. He is a graduate of Collegedale Academy and Kennesaw State University where he received a bachelor of business administration in operations management. He received his master’s of business administration from Kennesaw State University and currently works at Hapag-Lloyd in Kennesaw, Ga.
The couple honeymooned in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and reside in Atlanta.
