An AARP driver safety class will be held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 21 and 22 at Castle Shannon Library. Participants 55 and older can receive a five percent discount off car insurance for completing this program. Cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers.

Adult Interest Center at Southminster Presbyterian Church, Mt. Lebanon, meets at 11 a.m. on Fridays. Lunch is served at noon for $6.

Singer Brian Mahan will entertain on Nov. 22.

The center will be closed Nov. 29 in celebration of Thanksgiving.

Home Instead Senior Care Center for Training and Education in Bethel Park will offer an Alzheimer’s CARE Training workshop at 6 p.m. Nov. 26. Caregivers will learn to manage behaviors, encourage engagement and care for themselves while caring for a loved one.
