Local nonprofit haunt set to reach $1 million donation mark
Hundred Acres Manor in South Park, the largest nonprofit haunted house in Pennsylvania benefitting both Homeless Children’s Education Fund (HCEF) and Animal Friends for the past 10 years, is set to reach its $1 million dollar donation mark.
Hundred Acres Manor was recently featured on Travel Channel’s “America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions 4.” Each year, the Travel Channel visits terrifying, interactive displays across the country to compile its list of America’s most frightening Halloween attractions. The show is part of the larger Halloween series “Weekends to Die For,” which aired every weekend in October. Hundred Acres Manor was voted the 3rd Top Haunt in the World this past September by Top Haunts Magazine, and has also been named one of America’s Best Haunts by Hauntworld.
Shrieks and screams may be heard coming from Hundred Acres Manor every weekend through Nov. 2.
