Recently we suffered a loss of a business in our area. Alexander’s Gym. My wife and I have been a member there for about seven years and became friends with many other members. As seniors we belong to the silver sneakers program. We usually met there on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. We exercised and socialized and bonded. We thought of these people as our “gym family”.

On Thursday, Aug. 22, the doors were closed and locked. No notice, no indication that they were closing. As usual many of us went to the gym on Friday and saw a note on the door that they were closed. We are trying to find another location that would fill our needs.

All of us feel the same about the poor business decision by closing the gym and think it was a dirty trick to pull on us.
