‘Miss Peters Township 2013’

Melissa Sarnicke, a junior at Washington & Jefferson College, was crowned “Miss Peters Township 2013” in the Miss Pittsburgh Pageant preliminaries.

As part of her reign, she has been involved in many community events, including fundraisers, food drives, fashion shows and parades.

Melissa will compete in the upcoming Miss Pittsburgh Pageant on Sept. 22 at the Sheraton Hotel, Station Square, Pittsburgh.

She is the daughter of Sam and Sandra Sarnicke of McMurray.
