Adult Interest Center
The Adult Interest Center at Southminster Presbyterian Church, Mt. Lebanon, offers programs on Fridays, September-June, beginning at 11 a.m. that are free and open to the public. Lunch is served at noon at a cost of $6. Reservations are not required.
On Dec. 5, Louise Sturgess, executive director of the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation, will present “Pittsburgh Architecture in the 21st Century.”
On Dec. 12, Scott Sandage, associate professor of American History at Carnegie Mellon University, will discuss the history of America’s reverse Horatio Algers with “Born Losers: A History of Failure in America.”
On Dec. 19, the Tapestry Choir will perform.
AIC will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

Tai Chi

Chanukah luncheon
A Chanukah Seniors Luncheon will take place at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 23 at South Hills Jewish Community Center, Scott Township. Kosher lunch with hot Latkas, menorah lighting, Chanukah music and fellowship. Event is co-sponsored by Chabad of the South Hills and the South Hills JCC. Suggested donation is $5.
