At Brightwood Christian Church, Bethel Park, a Live Nativity will be presented on the front lawn from 6-9 p.m. Dec. 21-23. Since 1985, the Nativity has used costumed members of the congregation, a barn stage and live animals in a fenced in area. A hospitality table with coffee and cookies will be set up in Campbell Hall. At Community of Christ Church, South Park, a drive-thru live nativity will be presented from 6-9 p.m. Dec. 20. At Jewish Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh, Chanukah will be celebrated with the following events:
• Candle-lighting and celebrations will be held at 4:45 p.m. through Dec. 23 in the Palm Court at the JCC in Squirrel Hill.

At South Hills Assembly, Bethel Park, an AdventureChurch Service will be held Dec. 20 at the Tandem Connection, Cecil. Ride, hike or cross-country ski on the Montour Trail afterward. Service begins at 10 a.m. and trail users will leave around 10:45, returning for a $6 lunch special by Roadside Ribs BBQ. Non-guided trip. At South Hills Church of the Nazarene, Bethel Park, the Sanctuary Choir will present the worshipful Christmas cantata “What a Glorious Night!” at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 21. Prior to the musical, the preschoolers will sing several Christmas carols and the first- through sixth-graders will join the choir in singing “This is Christmas.” Cookies and refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall. At Trinity United Methodist Church, McMurray, the Kingdom Kids children’s choir will present the Christmas musical “Shepherds, Sheep and a Savior” at the 11 a.m. service Dec. 21. The musical tells a familiar part of the Christmas story in which God chooses the shepherds to be the first ones to see the Savior. It features simple drama along with new songs and familiar carols.
