Life is made up of choices

1 min read

I respectfully disagree with the editorial of Dec. 25, especially the sentence, “it is not a choice.” All of life is made up of choices.

Those who believe that a woman has the right to choose to abort her baby somehow believe we can’t choose how we conduct our sex lives. We all have many desires and inclinations toward many behaviors. We all choose which behavior we’ll engage in, unless someone forces us. Celibacy can be one choice, rape or incest is another choice. We humans have the ability to make choices, animals don’t have that reasoning ability.

The word tolerance is used now by many to convince the world that there is no sin. If there is no sin, there is no need for a Savior.

This editorial, published on the day we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, reveals how many have chosen to replace the word truth with tolerance.
