Hilltoppers of Scott Township will meet Jan. 8 at Covenant-Community Presbyterian Church. Doors open at 10 a.m. Bring lunch to eat at noon. Dessert will be provided. Laura Evans from Brentwood Bank will speak on identity theft. For details, call 412-341-8640.

• Book Chat, 10 a.m. Jan. 24.

Asbury Heights in Mt. Lebanon, along with Family Hospice and Palliative Care, will host a presentation with nationally recognized dementia expert Teepa Snow on Jan. 16.

The program, “The ABCs of Dementia and Caregiving: The Essentials for Good Care,” will take place from 6-8 p.m. at Asbury’s social room.
