The Bethel Baseball Association will present an evening with Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle Jan. 15 at the high school auditorium. The program will begin promptly at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $10.
Online purchases at www.bethelbaseball.org will have an additional $1 service charge per ticket.
Tickets will also be on sale from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Bethel Park Community Center.
Peters Township will host its second Match For a Marine when the Indians battle Bethel Park at 7 p.m. Jan. 8.
All proceeds from the event, including admissions and concession sales, will be donated to the organization established to help Sgt. Doug Vitale. The former Kiski wrestler was injured while on patrol in Afghanistan. He lost both his legs and suffered multiple strokes. He and his wife, Alexis, a Peters Township graduate, reside in the community where a home is being constructed by Tunnel to Towers and The Gary Sinese foundations to fit their needs.
The goal is to have 1,000 people attend and raise $5,000. Last year, $29,000 was raised.

St. Louise de Marillac will hold baseball and softball registration for the 2014 season from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 12 in the LeGras Parish Center, main floor. Registration for the Bethel Church League’s 2014 baseball season will be held from 1-4 p.m. Jan. 12 and from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Bethel Park Community Center.
The league is open to all BP residents, regardless of church affiliation. Ages 4-17 are eligible.

The University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg will host a six-week baseball camp beginning Jan. 12. Another camp will be offered starting Jan. 26 at Charleroi High School.
