Don’t blame McDonald’s

1 min read

I find it hard to believe that you would want McDonald’s to basically say that their products are necessary more of a health concern than most of what you can purchase already today at your local grocery store (editorial, Jan. 1). Are you of the belief that there should be warnings on, let’s say, frozen pizza, ice cream, hot dogs, steaks – and don’t forget the dreaded hamburgers? Maybe we should hold grocery stores responsible for selling food that is in demand. I like McDonalds products and never for a minute do I blame them for making a product that the world loves. Maybe Coke should be next in the censoring process. I say get off the smartphone games, and move your body around. Hey, maybe we can blame Apple or Samsung for people’s lack of health and fitness – nope, not their fault. If you have a gripe about food and obesity, I would suggest that inactivity is the culprit most of the time. Opps – there goes the personal responsibility again. Sorry if I sound like McDonald’s (not).
