At Hamilton Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park, an 11-week study on the book of Revelation entitled “Here and Now…There and Then” by Beth Moore will be offered. At St. Louise de Marillac School, Upper St. Clair, Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated along with the 50th anniversary of the school. This year’s theme is “50 Years Alive in Faith.” Activities will include a talent show, faith rally and a visit by WTAE-TV’s Mike Clark at 9 a.m. Jan. 30.

At Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, a Mom to Mom Heart Talk is planned at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 30 and will continue for 10 weeks. At St. Valentine Church, Bethel Park, the Men’s Club will hold its 46th Annual Stag Fish Fry on Jan. 31 at Frawley Hall. There will be raffles, prizes and social games. Food will be served from 6-9 p.m. Must be 21 years old to attend. Tickets are $25.

At Chabad of the South Hills, Mt. Lebanon, a new six-week course titled “Jewish Identity” will be offered through Rohr Jewish Learning. Explore what it means to be a Jew in the Free World and examine the personal and religious struggles that individuals and communities confront as they face the challenges of changing times. The course will take place from 7:30-9 p.m. Wednesdays, beginning Feb. 5, or 10:15-11:30 a.m. Sundays, beginning Feb. 9. • Who is God for Us Today: Insights from Four Great Christian Thinkers at 7 p.m. Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26. Learn from the apostle Paul, medieval theologian Anselm, 20th century martyr Dietrich Bonhoeffer and 20th century American Eastern Orthodox thinker Alexander Schmemann.

• Triple A (55+): World War II program presented by Tim Ness, director of education at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum noon Feb. 12. The presentation will focus on the basic equipment used by a WWII soldier.

At Heinz Hall, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will celebrate Catholic Schools Night Feb. 8. The student performance will begin at 7:15 p.m. in the grand lobby followed by the concert at 8 p.m. Music director Manfred Honeck and the women of the Mendelssohn Choir will present Gustav Holst’s “The Planet.”

Following the concert, students, teachers, parents and administrators will meet Maestro Manfred Honeck in the Dorothy Porter Simmons Regency Rooms.

At St. Gregory Byzantine Catholic Church, Upper St. Clair, its Fifth Annual Comedy Night is planned for Feb. 28. Tables will be reserved for groups of 10 or more. Haluski, stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and hot dogs will be available at 6 p.m.

At South Hills Church of the Nazarene, Bethel Park, the winter session of the DivorceCare support group takes place from 7-9 p.m. Thursdays, through April 10.

DivorceCare features a weekly video prior to discussion with nationally recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics. Sessions include “Facing My Anger,” “Facing My Loneliness,” “Depression,” “New Relationships,” “KidCare” and “Forgiveness.” Cost is $20 (includes workbook).
