Tom Corbett has Pennsylvania’s best interests at heart
I am puzzled by polling numbers regarding Gov. Tom Corbett. They lead me to wonder, “Exactly what are Pennsylvania voters looking for in a governor?” In Tom Corbett, we have a hard-working proven man of principle, common sense and sincere concern for the welfare of all Pennsylvania citizens. Granted, he isn’t your flashy, self-serving candidate, willing to use innuendo, half-truths or outright falsehoods to win elections or personality contests. He was elected governor on his campaign of balanced budgets, lower taxes for small businesses and average citizens, improved funding for education and job growth. He delivered on those promises. Granted, he doesn’t make a big deal of what he accomplishes or blow his own horn at every turn.
No, in his quiet, unassuming, professional way, he simply works hard every day to deliver on his promises without fanfare. Perhaps that’s part of the problem with polling results. Real leaders don’t advertise, they just get it done. It is always an uphill climb to refute sly, negative hints or innuendos of your opponent. If they are repeated often enough, however, they somehow turn into “facts.” Remember that ancient warning, “beware the wolf in sheep’s clothing.”
I implore every citizen of Pennsylvania, please wake up, seek the truth, ask yourself “who really has the best interests of Pennsylvania at heart,” and then make an educated – not emotional – choice.
