Beer Garden Bash

Tickets are going fast for Mt. Lebanon Public Library’s fifth annual Beer Garden Bash. The event, which features the region’s finest craft beers, will take place 6-8:30 p.m. Aug. 23 in the library courtyard.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Mt. Lebanon Library, there will be more than a dozen ales, lagers, ciders and artisanal soft drinks, as well as a gourmet picnic supper of roasted chicken, veggie and roast beef sandwiches, pasta salad, fruit and brownies, plus steel drum music from local artist Dan Meunier, pictured here at last year’s performance.

Tickets can be purchased at the front desk for the all-inclusive price of $30 – or $50 for those wishing to make a larger tax-deductible gift to the library. All proceeds will be donated to support books and programs at the library.

Tickets are limited, and won’t be sold the day of the event. The event is open to adults 21 and over.

For more information, contact Bob Hagerty, secretary of Friends of the Mt. Lebanon Public Library, at 412-417-5415 or jamesrhagerty888@gmail.com.
