ML Historical Society offers first-ever bus tour
Purchase tickets by June 10 for Mount Lebanon Historical Society’s first-ever bus tour of Mt. Lebanon’s architecturally significant neighborhoods, which will take place at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. June 26.
“Neighborhoods & the National Register,” will be led by Pat Calvelo, a former Mt. Lebanon Preservation Board member. This tour focuses on Mt. Lebanon’s most important architectural highlights and covers the history of the Virginia Manor, Mission Hills and Beverly Heights. The tour also will explain why sections of Mt. Lebanon qualify for National Register of Historic Places designation. Buses depart from the Mt. Lebanon History Center. The tour is $20 for Historical Society members, $30 for non-members.
